ABOUT US
The Tanzania Pharmaceutical Technicians Association (TAPHATA) is a non-governmental, non-political and non-denominational voluntary organization that was founded since 1999 in Dar es salaam.TAPHATA is a professional leadership body for both enrolled and enlisted Pharmacy technicians and Assistant Pharmacy technicians in Tanzania. The association was purposely established to maintain, safeguard and promote the welfare of the Pharmaceutical Technicians across the country. Taphata work closely with the Pharmacy Council of Tanzania and The Ministry of Health in implementation of its duties.

TAPHATA ANNUAL EVENTS
YOU WANT TO REGISTER FOR AN ANNUAL EVENT?

TAPHATA SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION
To be held every February of the TAPHATA calendar year. This event brings together TAPHATA members,pharmaceutical personells,students and stakeholders to discuss various agenda and topics concerning pharmacy professional.The event will provide room for pharmaceutical partiners to conduct exhibition of services they offer.

INTERNATIONAL PHARMACY TECHNICIAN DAY(RX TECHDAY)
This is an international day that is to be held every October of the Taphata calendar year, whereby the Pharmacy Technicians meet to discuss and address the position of pharmacy technicians, the day is special for recognizing the invaluable contributions made by pharmacy technicians to patient health , safety and as an integral part of the healthcare team.

TAPHATA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING(AGM)
This is a special annual general meeting that is to be held every August of the TAPHATA calendar year. Whereby TAPHATA Members and stakeholders meet to discuss and address various issues about the association, this is also a forum whereby Taphata leadership presents the success, challenges and plans for the development of the association.

TAPHATA SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION
A week for TAPHATA members to educate the community on the rational use of medicines through various programs. The week shall be followed by the professional pharma-marathon for the technicians and stakeholders.
